The Summer Session at J. F. Oberlin University is a maximum 10 weeks, 5 sessions, intensive program in Tokyo, Japan. Courses offered in 2026 will be several content course and three levels of Japanese language courses. Each course allows participants to have first-hand experience through not only theoretical study, but also through field trips and lectures by guest professionals. Upon completion of each course, participants will be issued an official transcript from J. F. Oberlin University (4 credits/course)*****.

This coming summer, J.F. Oberlin University opens its doors even wider to the world: In addition to increasing the number of courses available for each session, participants will now have the chance to study not only at our Shinjuku Campus, but also at the main Machida Campus.
Participants can choose to attend Session 3 in Shinjuku and Session 4 in Machida, or Session 4 in Machida and Session 5 in Shinjuku. (You may also choose to attend any individual session at either campus.) This unique opporunity allows participants to immerse themselves in both the vibrant urban environment of Shinjuku and the traditional, local atmosphere of Machida, as well as gaining diverse academic and cultural experiences.
